My name is Jean and I identify myself as a fine art photographer. I went to school for filmmaking and photography with an emphasis in fine art.
Going into photography and filmmaking was never a dream of mine. It just happened to be an area I chose in order to express myself artistically. On the cusp of my transition from high school to college, I pondered on my strengths as an individual. I found that I love love love books and the imagination that it inspired. I was pretty good visually and constantly found recoginition for my artistic abilities.
Composition just seemed to click for me naturally, and I couldn’t understand how people could take such bad photos! In order to bring my imagination to life, I thought taking up filmmaking would spiral my potential into a reality.
As life works, I found that in my program, I was able to do a double study in photography and filmmaking as both majors shared the foundation of courses. Thus, I found myself studying both the art of filmmaking and photography.
I enjoy taking portraits, landscapes, and commercial photography. If you like what you see or find interest in my work, feel free to contact me. I love what I do and would love a chance to show you what I can do for you.
